Good day to everyone:
My friend's grandchild is having open heart surgery so at this moment we are concentrating on this situation but I will be back.  We look forward to a wonderful outcome.

I am so loving the colors of the year, esp the pink (Rose Quartz)
Some of my favorite bags are in versions of this color:

The first one is Dooney & Bourke domed satchel from the Nile Croc series.

The Louis Vuitton is Watercolor Speedy
The (Aquarelle) Watercolor Speedy is one of the many representations of the classic
bag which originally came only in white but later was made with a brown background. (No longer available).
I have never used this bag - heaven only knows what I am waiting for especially now that the color is hot again!
Trivia Question:  Did you know that there are 17 paint colors that were used in blurring the Watercolor Speedy? See how smart we are!

I intend to make this year's Christmas tree a pink beauty (ok, I have already started collecting new ornaments with the pink theme~I can't help it ~I'm already excited about the holidays!)
These just arrived  - safe & sound!

I would like you to meet Michelle at http://grammietime2.blogspot.com.  This lovely person explores the wonderfulness of being grandparents and the joys that come along with this segment of life.  I was fortunate to be featured and I thank her for the kindness.  I am known for loving my grands more than my next breath. (According to my son, I like them better - hummmm!) It is the most unconditional love - grandchildren do not care what your job is or how much money you have - they only know how you make them feel - they know they are loved just because they exist ~ and that's enough.
And happy, happy day - they are coming again this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!

The grands & I like barbecue potato chips but sometimes it's a little sweet for me so I decided to 'dress' mine up!
I added cayenne pepper and cumin to my portion and loved it! It toned down the sweetness and made it uniquely mine!

My precious babies are here for the weekend so craziness will commence - and how I love it!
    Have a great weekend.

       Pink isn't just a color ~ it's an attitude!

I have to help celebrate one of my favorite brands of hair spray ~ Kenra
I have various forms of their products and really like Working Spray,
                                                                and Texturizing Mist
All are excellent products that do not get stiff - nice fragrance that goes away quickly & does not conflict with perfume.

I tried a pink & bronze-coppery eye shadow look and I don't care for it - it did not seem to highlight the green in my eyes.  Maybe I should go darker with the crease and shading.

Yes, I will have some syrup to go with my french toast! (lite, of course!)
No, really I only do this once a month - it would be terrible if it should become a habit!!!
I started collecting Pfaltzgraff during the Bicentennial and have almost all the pieces in the Yorktowne series.  They are celebrating 200 yrs of creating durable, classic pieces of dinnerware.  Here is an article that is very informative if you collect any of their lines:

I have considered selling my sets but the family is afraid I will regret it afterwards.  I am sort of leaning to a more basic white dinner pattern but I will just wait.

If you are not big on bronzer but would like a little glow, you should look at Ambient Lighting Powder by Hourglass Cosmetics
Luminous Light (L) and Mood Light (R)  -  these powders are not glittery and give just a slight sheen.  They are perfect for this time of year.
I use these along the top of my cheeks bones - it takes very little product so you will get a lot of use from these.  I have had mine for well over a year and am not even half way thru these.

I pulled out my Laura Geller Fortifying Eye Lash Primer and now remember how much I liked it!
It is a black color without the little fibers and gives good coverage - in the above photo, I have no mascara on and my lashes are very soft.  This product is supposed to be good for the lashes so I am going to be more conscious about using it.

I had to give the grands back as spring break is over.  But it was a nice time to stop at the outlets for a 'little' haul!!!!
I have not tried everything yet but I know that I love all the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess products.
The Origins BB is a tinted moisturizer with white tea and SPF15 - this is new to me so I am excited to try this.

It is cold and rainy here & I wanted something tasteful for a snack so I looked up Rosemary Mixed Nuts (the Barefoot Contessa has a similar recipe) - with just a handful of ingredients and 5 mins I had heaven on a plate!  I love salty and nuts are one of my favorite snacks.  I had been to BJ's and picked up a 3lb container of mixed nuts. So I combined butter, chopped rosemary, sea salt, cayenne pepper and a little brown sugar - it does not get easier than this.  I did not bother to let this cool - I just dug in!
And this reminds me - I need to get a rosemary plant for the sun-room.

Congratulations to Miss Sandy for winning one of the Naked eye shadow palettes-I hope you enjoy it!  I still have several other palettes waiting in the wings!
